About Us
Founder Statement
When I learned how many teachers, nurses, and essential workers in our community struggle to find affordable housing, I realized something needed to change.
At just 15 years old, I may not be able to build homes myself, but I can build awareness, compassion, and a movement.
Keys4All was created to empower young people to learn about housing challenges and take action. By educating students, advocating for solutions, and working with community partners, we hope to make housing access a priority for our community.
Together, we can help build a future where everyone has a place to call home.

About Keys4All
Our Story
Keys4All was founded by a student who learned that many teachers, nurses, and essential workers in Orange County cannot afford to live in the communities where they work. While the housing crisis is often discussed by policymakers and developers, young people rarely have a voice in these conversations.
Keys4All was created to change that.
By educating students, organizing community discussions, and advocating for housing solutions, Keys4All empowers youth to become leaders in addressing one of the most important challenges facing our region.
Mission
Our mission is to empower youth to take action toward creating affordable, inclusive housing in our community. We raise awareness, advocate for fair housing policies, and partner with local organizations to support essential workers and families.
Vision
We envision a future where everyone in Orange County has access to safe, stable, and affordable housing.
Our Values
Equity
Everyone deserves a place to call home.
Community
Strong communities are built when people can live near where they work.
Youth Leadership
Young people have the power to create change.
Action
Awareness must lead to solutions.

The Housing Crisis In Orange County
Housing in Orange County has become increasingly expensive over the past decade.
Key facts:
The median home price in Orange County is over $1.3 million.
The average monthly rent in Irvine is over $3,000.
Housing is considered affordable when it costs no more than 30% of a household’s income
For many workers, especially teachers and nurses, housing costs far exceed this threshold.
This creates a situation where essential workers must commute long distances or leave the area entirely.

Why Affordable Housing Matters
Affordable housing supports:
teachers
nurses
firefighters
service workers
young families
students
When people cannot afford to live near their workplace, communities face longer commutes, worker shortages, and increased economic inequality.
Creating more affordable housing helps build stronger and more sustainable communities.
